Our Founder, Marilyn A. Hornsby

Marilyn A. Hornsby a native Pittsburgher, attended the Pittsburgh Public Schools. The first in her family to attend college, Marilyn began her higher education experience at Community College of Allegheny County. She graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Science in School Counseling. Marilyn is also an Ordained and Licensed Evangelist. She has a strong faith in God and a servant’s heart. She has served with diligence Pastors, congregations, communities, nursing homes, inmates, and youth in various capacities for the past forty years.

Marilyn loves family and is the fourth child of seven. Her siblings are all great supporters and they all work in the human service field. She has a strong work ethic passed down to her from both strong parents. Although Marilyn has never birthed any children she is a mother at heart with many God and adopted children to prove it.
She has worked with young people both in her professional career and secular activities. Her experience broadens from Classroom Teacher, Community Youth Director, Youth Leader at Full Life Deliverance Ministries, Inc her church home, Sunday School Teacher, Tutor, Mentor, and School Counselor.

Marilyn has a huge passion for young people and helping them to further broaden their lives in all areas. She is no stranger to hard work and perseverance and relishes a challenge. She brings to her newest endeavor; I Am Whole, forty-two years of formal work experience from the Alternative Education Program of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. She is considered firm, yet fair, faithful, generous, honest, and humble.

Once again Marilyn reaches out to assist young women to become successful, change their lives through Christ and be transformed fulfilling the vision and dream of I Am Whole.
Our Board Members

Dr. Andrea L. Moore
Board Chair
Pastor Andrea Lynn Moore, known by many as “Pastor Aunie”, is a Pittsburgh native. She holds a B.S. in Administration and an M.A. in Regional Planning and Geography (California U. of Pa.), a B.A. in Biblical Studies (North Carolina School of Theology), and a Ph.D. in Administration and Leadership Studies (Indiana U. of Pa.). She is a Supervisor and an Adjunct Professor, and enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with family. She volunteers for I Am Whole because she "believes in the mission and vision of the organization." She says her favorite part of mentorship is that "what I can glean from them and apply to my life."

Elder George Fleming
Organizational Overseer
Pastor George J. Fleming is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Clarion University, he has worked in the Human Services field for the past 35 years. His background in the Human Service field includes administration for alcohol, tobacco and drug treatment, residential group homes, mental health services, reunification services, homeless shelters, mentorship, prevention and consulting services. Mr. Fleming founded The Father’s Touch Ministries in 2016, dedicated to the restoration of the family by restoring the Father to his rightful position in the home.
Pastor Myrna Lewis Hallenbeck
Board Emerita
Reverend Myrna Lewis Hallenbeck is the wife of Bishop Peter M. Hallenbeck of the Full Life Deliverance Ministries Inc., where she serves as Senior Pastor. She is the mother of Peter, Patrick, Lorna, and Leslie, and the grandmother of eleven. In 1973, Apostle Skinner sent Pastors Myrna & Peter to Pittsburgh to fulfill a great commission of founding Deliverance Ministry.

Mrs. Kimberle Greene
Board Member
Kimberle Green is from the Churchill, a Pittsburgh suburb, and is a Marketing and Growth Enablement Manager at the University of Pittsburgh. She enjoys traveling, completing thousand piece puzzles, entertaining, rollerskating, visiting amusement parks, and volunteering to help others when she can. Mrs. Greene began her volunteering with I Am WHOLE as a Programming volunteer in 2021 prior to serving on the Board.


Ms. Nancy R. Hornsby
Board Member
Ms. Nancy R. Hornsby is from the Chartiers community of Pittsburgh, and is a proud PPS Administrative Manager of Early Childhood Education Programs. In addition to serving on the Board, Ms. Hornsby volunteers at men's and women's homeless shelters, and at her church, North Side Institutional Church of God in Christ. Ms. Hornsby serves on the Board because her heart lies in making a difference in a young ladies' lives. Also, she enjoys being a part of their growth and development into the woman that they are intended to be. She serves because "it is what we are called to do." We are not put on this earth to help ourselves, we are called to give, encourage and pour into others – being a part of I Am Whole, allows me to live in my purpose.

Mr. Wayne Coleman, Jr.
Board Member
Mr. Wayne Coleman, Jr.and his wife, Kortney, are Swissvale residents. He is a Supervisor of Compliance, and serves on the Board to be able to lend his talents and skills to I Am WHOLE while exhibiting God through his walk. In addition to I Am WHOLE, Mr. Coleman volunteers with Toys for Tots, Project Bundle-Up, Adopt-A-Family, DWD Trinity Prayer Warriors and Special Spaces.

Lady Sharon Fisher
Board Member
Sharon Fisher is a graduate of California U. of Pa. and the University of Pittsburgh holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Policy and Administration Studies. She formerly taught special education, abused and neglected, adjudicated, and other at-risk youth, and now serves as a principal in the Pittsburgh Public School District. She has been an administrator and principal in the school system for 23 years and tremendously enjoys her ministry of educating and reaching students, families, and staff members.
Advisory Board Members

Mrs. Kayla Thomas
Mrs. Kayla Thomas is a Penn Hills resident, where she is a Homemaker and a Real Estate Investor. Mrs. Thomas enjoys health and wellness, Early childhood development, cooking new recipes, traveling and itinerary building, fashion interior design and event planning. She also serves as a volunteer for Light of Life Ministries. Mrs. Thomas says, "I am a visionary who believes in the mission of I Am WHOLE. I desire to positively influence young ladies to follow God and as they are unlock their calling and passion. I believe that working alongside other individuals who have a similar passion we can change the next generation for God’s glory." While she did not have a mentor as a young lady, she wants to be the person she could have utilized as a youth. "I have sought mentorship as an adult, and my experience has been transformative, which influences I desire to be that for my mentee."

Ms. Cynthia Hornsby
Ms. Cynthia Hornsby is a Crafton resident and a Retired/Part time Community Specialist for Mainstay Life Services.In addition to the Advisory Board for I Am Whole, she volunteers at Bayer Corporation for pre-adoptive children and a local Women's Homeless Shelter. She says she serves in the capacity of Advisory Board Member to help our young women experience many types of environments, cultural, spiritual, and life experience. "This organization is spiritual based and we need to offer the young women today to prepare them for their higher education, career, how to be wives and mother. I Am WHOLE gives them a sense of community and teach them how to give back." In addition to volunteering, Ms. Hornsby enjoys making Floral Designer/Wreath, Centerpieces, Swags and Pulpit Arrangements.
